My friend Cassie at Primitive & Proper is a master of painted furniture. So it should be no surprise when she turned her furniture painting talents to mason jars, they turned out fabulous!
Though, technically, this isn’t a paint treatment. She did use gold leaf, after all ….
and effect she has used on furniture in the past as well.
My big question is where she found those awesome antique jars! But then again, Cassie is also the Queen of vintage shopping!
To create your very own amazing gold leaf mason jars, you can find the full tutorial at Primitive & Proper. Just click here …

Vintage jars look so vintage, love that look on them. What inspired using gold leaf on jars. I’ve used some gold leaf and found out isn’t good idea to try with finger tips that can’t feel anything. Not something I’d want to try but love the look if somebody else does it. Maybe I’ll see if I can get my grand daughter to try it. she’s pretty handy crafter herself, likes to try different techniques.
