I had a teacher-becomes-the student moment this week.
You see, someone ordered my American flag painted mason jars from the Etsy shop. Only thing, they requested the Ball mason jars in the quartz size …
and the red, white, and blue mason jars I list on my Etsy shop are pint-sized.
But I’m always accommodating. I like custom orders. And I said “absolutely!” and “no problem” and “of course I can do that!”
Uh oh …
So as I was trying to figure out how many red and white stripes I should paint on the larger, quart-sized Ball mason jars …
and how large those stripes should be …
And how many stars I should include on the blue painted mason jar …
and how far apart I should space those stars …
I remembered that Rachel at Maison de Pax had created American flag jars using quart sized Ball mason jars. And I knew this because she was so very kind and linked her project back to my original tutorial.
So I simply visited Rachel’s blog to find out how she did it. And this time around, I followed her tutorial …
and that was the moment this ‘teacher’ became the student. 🙂
You, too, can become a student of Rachel’s — and find out how she made her amazing red, white, and blue American flag quart-sized Ball Canning mason jars — by visiting Maison de Pax. Just click here …
