I would love to claim I came up with the candy corn mason jar idea …

but, alas, I did not.

I found my inspiration here.  Along with an excellent how to …

and is it okay that I love these candy corn mason jars so much more than the candy corn candy that inspired this project?

1. Spray paint jars white

Thank you for sharing! I tried to make these using Krylon gloss spray paint and I cannot get the paint to do what I want it to do. It separates and bubbles. I tried cleaning the jars with rubbing alcohol thinking there was residue on them but nothing, still happens… Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

  10. This is about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! I just got three old jars at a thrift store the other day for 50 cents each. Now I think I know their destiny. Thanks! -Dawn @ We Call It Junkin

  11. Ah, I’m getting ready to do the same with wine bottles but it seems like jars would work better. Maybe stick a candle in them for a little candy corn glow. Thanks for sharing!
