Mason jars aren’t just for canning anymore …
although those of you who visit here regularly know this. In fact, I have yet to share a single blog post that shows how to use mason jars for their intended (canning) purpose.
Truth: I have no idea about how to use mason jars for their intended purpose!
I have never once canned. I have never once had a desire to can. I have never once even Googled how to can.
I suppose if I had a garden and wanted to preserve my abundance of crops, I would turn to canning. But I don’t. I rely on the grocery store for my fruit and veggie needs … fresh and canned!
But I do love a good mason jar craft.
And this summer, I’m especially loving a mason jar craft that includes succulent and herbs …
and using mason jars as planters!
So I thought I’d share some of my favorite Mason Jar Planters projects …
So many cute ideas! I have lots of mason jars just hanging around..
I love all of these ideas for mason jar planters, especially the succulents. I wonder how they would fare indoors all winter.
I think they should do fine? Not sure as I have a black thumb! But when I go to Home Depot the succulents are always indoors and they seem to do well there year round! 🙂
