In fact, I picked up a herb plant at the grocery store last week. Basil. I’ve watered it. I’ve shown it the sun. I haven’t yet talked to it …
but it’s dying.
It’s like the minute I touched that planter and put it in my cart, the death march began.
And now I can’t help but wonder if I replanted it in a prettier pot — like these darling mason jar herb pots — if that would give my little grocery store basil plant will to live …
