Up until yesterday, all my mason jar craft love making to share with you here on the blog … and to sell at my Etsy shop … took place on my dining room table.
It was not pretty.
My dining room is located slap dab in the middle of our home. Which, as many city homes are, is long and narrow. It’s called railroad style. Because the rooms line up like railroad cars. So to get anywhere in our railroad-car-style home, you have to walk through the dining room …
a room piled high with mason jars and paint and glue guns and assorted craft materials to glue onto mason jars. Or put into mason jars.
It was not pretty.
I made it my mission to carve out a mason jar crafting space in our home. A space located in a 74-by-22-inch nook under the stairs of our finished basement.
I also made it my mission to enlist the help of Cost Plus World Market to make my mason jar craft space dream come true after I fell in love with their industrial-style home office furnishings and accessories.
They set the tone for the chalkboard wall and DIY sawhorse desk.
And I’m just loving how this work space has turned out!
