My mind is boggled.
I’ve always lived in places where school starts after Labor Day.
Except that one failed experimental year here in Chicago when they tried to start in late August. No one was up for that. First day attendance was abysmal. First week attendance was abysmal.
The next year we were back to the day after Labor Day start date!
