Bird’s Nest Cupcakes

Can I share something with you all? These bird’s nest cupcakes in a jar from the At The Picket Fence bloggers was the whole launching pad for me crafting and creating projects with mason jars.

 

I kid you not.

 

You see, I had injured my finger. Requiring surgery. And months of rehab. Per doctor’s orders, no heavy lifting could be done. Which meant my DIY (on my other blog, It All Started With Paint) went from power tools to crafts. With a focus on mason jar crafts. Because I remember the bloggers at At The Picket Fence telling me “everything tastes better in a mason jar.” “And looks better in a mason jar.” And that people were just hungry for mason jar ideas beyond the traditional canning use.

 

So I started to craft with mason jars.  And those projects are still my most popular on the blog …

 

… which led to the creation of this blog!
