Hi there March! How are you?
It’s really good to see you. Because … you see … it was a rough winter.
Okay, maybe not the roughest in history of rough winters. Especially not by Chicago standards.
But …
there was that week-long single-digit cold snap where I drove my daughter to high school each morning. Otherwise she may have frozen to death waiting for the bus (because as a high school teenage girl, she refuses to dress for warmth; fashion trumps freezing cold temperatures any day of the week).
Then there were those snow dumps. One of which shut down the city.
And that’s saying something for the city of Chicago.
So, Ms. March, we have some high expectations from you. I mean, you are the month with the first day of Spring after all …
