It’s hard to imagine that last week I was still walking around in sandals!

but on my feet were sandals. Firmly planted.
But today? Today I’m breaking out the snow boots. Yes, you read that right. Snow boots!
We had one of those snowstorms here in Chicago that pops up at the oddest of times. And this year’s snowstorm popped up on the heels of one of the nicest, longest Indian Summers in my beloved city’s history.
Well, to be fair, a history that spans the 30+ years I’ve been here. I can’t speak for the Indian Summers before I moved here.
But the snow outside – along with the frigid temperatures it brought with it – has me thinking about Christmas.
