I shared these painted mummy mason jars on the other blog last week …
and I just love how they turned out.
I have them perched at eye level on an armoire in my dining room. And every time I walk past them – which is about a hundred times a day – they make me smile!
Now, admittedly, this was not the easiest of projects. They do require a bit of hand painting …
and a level of patience that often eludes me.
I’ll be honest with you here … those eyeballs? Yeah, that didn’t happen on the first try. Or even the second try. My biggest challenge was trying to get them all about the same size …
and to make sure the “blacks of the eyes” were the same size.
That part tripped me up …
