Apple Mason for Teacher

by Linda 2 Comments

apple-mason-jar-teacher-gift-idea

I started this apple mason jar teacher gift project three weeks ago. Seriously. I spray painted the jars red …

and then the project stalled.

I knew what I wanted to do. In fact, I thought I was being oh so original with this idea (turns out I wasn’t). But then life got in the way. A yard sale needed to be organized. And held. Kids needed to get ready for back to school. Clothes. Supplies. Ortho appointments, etc. etc.

But I finally got it together this week. And finished it off …

phew.

Those jars are so blasted adorable. Since I don’t have young kids/grand kids to give them to teachers, they’d make really cute item to put on a table or on kitchen counters. Love this. I’m going to get some of the good spray paint like you did tho. I have some red paint but not sure it’s heavy duty to withstand being handled. Love that idea, so glad you shared this, simple things like this make a home feel personal and look darned cute. Will look for some plain clear glass jars to paint, don’t want to waste my good jars. I’m really silly about using up my “good” jars. Go figure.
    Happy days Pinning

Love the idea. I am going to try to make the small ones for my grandson’s teachers. I am limited in my mobility, but will hopefully get them done. Thank you for sharing.
