Baseball Mason Jars with Scrapbook Paper – Baseball Crafts – Baseball Mason Jar Crafts
Batter up.
Play ball.
Take me out to the ball game.
Home run!
We want a pitcher, not a belly itcher.
I have a real soft spot in my heart for that last one. Words that 100% came out of my mouth on the playground at Spring Valley Elementary School in Paramus, NJ. 😉
Today I love far from that elementary school …
but very, very close to Wrigley Field in Chicago.
And today is Wrigley’s opening day.
So to commemorate that momentous annual benchmark – yes, a signal that spring weather is on the way – I’ve pulled out my old standby easy-to-create mason jar craft:
How To Make Baseball Mason Jars with Scrapbook Paper
Materials*
16 oz. Pint Size Ball Mason Jars
Two-Sided Baseball Scrapbook Paper 12 x 12 sheet (I found mine at Michaels)
Scotch Tape
*includes some Amazon affiliate links.
Instructions
- I’ve shared more detailed (with pictures) tutorials on how I make my scrapbook paper wrapped mason jars. You can a detailed tutorial with pictures at this link.
- It’s pretty simple: just cut strips of your 12 x 12 scrapbook paper into 2 3/4″ wide strips (each strip will measure 2 3/4″ x 12″).
- Use Scotch tape to tape the scrapbook paper to the jar (tape one end onto the back of the jar. Wrap the paper around and fold over the excess. Use tape to secure).
- Finish off with baker’s twine wrapped around the jar and tied into a bow.
It’s that easy. And now you’re ready to …
play ball!
