Are you ready for the fireworks? And firecrackers?
I don’t know about where you live, but the Fourth of July kicks off a summer-long firecracker season. The pop pop pop pop sound punctuating most summer nights …
and sending my dog in search of a safe place to hide. 🙁
I notice them early on (like last night!) but then the sounds become so common place that they don’t even register by mid-July.
July is also the month of my birthday, so perhaps I should claim that pop pop popping as a celebration of my birth month! 😉
