It’s June and things are a blooming!
Finally.
Now, I realize there are parts of the country that have been in full bloom for months now.
But in Chicago? Well, in Chicago our blooming season is limited.
I like to think Chicagoans embrace the blooms fiercely. Mostly because our blooming season is limited.
The moment temperatures break 55, every restaurant in the city sets up their outdoor seating areas. Either along the sidewalks or in backyard patios.
It’s a favorite time of the year for me. And most of my neighbors too!
So here’s to the warmer temperatures. Here’s to the sun. Here’s to sitting outside and enjoying a meal. And here’s to the blooms …
