Once upon a time, I never knew what a mason jar was …
I know, right? Crazy times.
Canning was not a part of my family. So it wasn’t until much later in life … much later when I fully immersed myself into the online world of blogging and crafting and then blogging about the crafting that I encountered my first mason jar craft.
And let’s just say from that first coat of paint that I slathered on that first mason jar, I was hooked.
And now I can’t imagine a house filled with mason jars!
I have them in just about every room. Holding flowers in the living room and candles in the dining room and hand lotion in the kitchen …
and, of course, holding Q-tips and toothbrushes in the bathroom.

I adore this idea. It’s simple and elegant while being entirely practical! Right now I have my Q-tips stuffed under my sink- less than convenient. Once I get my new place, I’ll have to give this a try.
