I need to start a mason jar bucket list. And at the very top of that list will be mason jar mercury glass.
Seriously. How cool are these jars?
Landee at Landee See Landee Do created these after attending a wedding. Her friend made mercury glass mason jars and used them as centerpieces. Landee admired how romantic and luxurious they made the table feel. And then set out to make her very own …
Thankfully she created a detailed tutorial to show us how we, too, can make these amazing mercury glass mason jars …
… and you’ll be shocked at how simple it is!
You can find the full tutorial at Landee See Landee Do.
And now I need to go and make some of my very own so I can cross this off my mason jar bucket list!
Feeling a Shakespeare moment coming on…How much do I love these Mercury Glass Mason Jars…Let me count the ways!!!! (((hugs)))
How awesome is this!! I love anything Mercury glass. To be able to do this to Mason jars, bonus!

Hi Linda! I have a chandelier project that I have been wanting to work on and before I go searching google, I thought I would see if you may know the answer – being that you are the mason jar queen and all 🙂
I want to make a mason jar chandelier – it’s the kind with the fake looking candles so I will be attaching the jars upside down with the candle showing inside the jar. I would like to dye the jars first and was wondering if you know of a way for me to paint/dye them that would be heat resistant? Or if I would just need to buy the pre-dyed jars? Let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks so much!
