Numbered Mason Jars

by Linda 4 Comments

Numbered Mason Jars with Paint & Stencils.

Painted Mason Jars - Numbered Jars with Vinyl Stencils

There are trends that the “experts” keep predicting — or more like wishing — away. Our beloved mason jars seem to top the list …

GRRRR …

I’m holding out, though. And I have confidence in you, my readers. My fellow mason jar loving compatriots. Together we will stand tall. And proud. And defend our use of mason jars for crafts and storage and decor and, yes, canning. We will continue to buy. We will continue to paint. We will continue to label. We will continue to gift.

We will challenge those nay-sayers and keep the mason jar “trend” alive. In fact, we will abolish the word trend. And call them a staple …

a classic …

a must-have.

And while we’re at the whole trend-bucking thing, lets embrace typography design too. Because it too will soon be on the expert chopping block. Sure, it’s still going strong. Embraced. Heralded for 2016. But it’s just a matter of time, isn’t it? Only a matter of time before typography’s use in home design is clumped together with mason jars.

And what better way to show those “experts” a thing or to by adding typography to mason jars. With some adorable painted and stenciled numbered mason jar containers.

Hope you have a mason jar crafts love filled day!

I too love my Mason Jars. I have them throughout my home. New ones, old ones, colored ones and hanging ones. And no it is not a fad with me. Have always decorated with them. My mother even worked in the factory where they where made when I was a teen. I keep dozens filled with food and spices in my pantry. Love all your ideas of using them, too.
