It’s so nice to see you again!
I’ve been waiting a long eleven months for your return. And here you are in all your jeans-(and-sometimes-shorts)-and-sweater-weather glory!
I love me a sweater.
Okay, more like I love me a hoody. But they serve a similar purpose.
I’m going to let you in on a little secret, my dear October. You see, you are my favorite month.
Shhhhhhhhh ….
Now, admittedly, I used to be all about the July and August (plus end of June). But that’s back when I wore (and actually looked good in) bikinis. And this body has not dared don a bikini in decades …
Seriously. Decades!
These days I’m more built for an October …
with all it’s sweater (okay, hoody) glory to hide those not-ready-for-bikini-prime-time lumps and bumps.
Yes, you read that right. I’m lumpy. And bumpy.
Which is why October and I now go together like salt & pepper …
or, more apropos, pumpkin & spice. 🙂
