Red, White & Blue Popsicle Mason Jar – Painted Popsicle on Mason Jar.

For me, Memorial Day always signaled the unofficial start of summer.
Sure, June 21 was still a few weeks off. But the end of May … and the start of June … was the turning point.
The turning point when the weather warmed.
The turning point when the sun shone more than not.
The turning point when the days grew long and daylight lasted until 8 or 9 pm.

And when I was in my 20’s, Memorial Day was the turning point when I would spend my weekends at the Jersey shore.
No, not the same shore in the MTV show. A much nicer shore in Sea Girt, NJ.

And Memorial Day weekend at the Jersey shore was always a cause for celebration.
Though, back then, the celebration featured of kegs of beer …

Your ideas are always so fun. Thank you.
Linda, I have always enjoyed your mason jar creations but I just wanted to take a moment and tell you now with all that is going on in the world, for some reason these projects are bringing me great joy. Maybe it is the simple timelessness of mason jars in general but your sweet touches have really struck a note deep inside me. Reminding me of just what is really important. Sounds corny but just wanted to tell you thanks for bringing this peaceful happiness.
Okay, you just brought tears to my eyes! Granted, I’ve been a bit weepy since the start of 2020. Lots going on. But I, too, have found great joy in crafting and creating! It gives me a sense of purpose and responsibility and helps me keep moving forward. I’m so glad that it has brought you some comfort and joy too! This is hands down the best message I’ve ever gotten!!! Thank you so much for the happy tears! 🙂 Linda
I love this project!! Thanks for sharing at Over The Moon. I am glad I got to visit your blog!! Happy Mothers DAy.
This is so cute! It would be perfect for holding plasticware at our family get-together on the 4th!
Adorable as always, thanks for sharing on craft schooling Sunday! Now my question is, what do you do with all the mason jar crafts? Paint over old ones? Give them away? Just curious as I was imagining shelves full of all your creations!
