This dates back long before texting became a thing. Long before cells phones were even an idea. Long before computers became a household staple.
Every card, every letter, every note I’ve written to my husband, my parents, my children, my friends over the past (I don’t even want to say because it’s way too many!) years is signed with an X and an O. And, in fact, often times I add multiple X’s and multiple O’s.
And when I text, I ignore the kissing emoji when it pops up on my iPhone and stick with the traditional X and O. With an extra X and O for good measure!
