I typically don’t push for time to rush by …
but am I the only one looking forward to June. And July. And August, etc., etc.???
Because let’s face it, 2020 is the worst. Year. Ever.
I don’t mean to be a downer. Perhaps it’s the cold, rainy day outside. Perhaps it’s being cooped up inside.
Perhaps it’s all the unknowns:
Will my daughter’s college open in the fall?
If yes, where will she live? If no, is it safe for her to do her remote learning from Colorado vs. Chicago? And if Colorado is safe … where will she live?
Will my son get his job back?
And what will become of his career-of-choice in the hospitality industry? He has a college degree that’s just hanging on the wall.
Will my parents be safe?
They’re in Florida. Eighty-six and soon to be eighty-nine years old. Not in the best of health. And we found out today that there is a confirmed COVID-19 case in their condo complex.
And last … but not least:
Will my family start to turn on one another as we continue to shelter-in- place? 😉
